Hello Family!

What a great week! Like I said last time, I'm in the Marcos Paz Zone in the area of Loma Grande! I love my new area!! The people are very accepting and we don't waste nearly as much time traveling.

My companion is a stud and we get along great. He´s Elder Pratt from Portland and we represent the Northwest very well. This is his last transfer and he´s ZL training me.

The work is going very well in our zone and we are very excited about the work ! We are going to find a family this transfer! I don't have time too much anymore because there is a lot more to do. The Zone is very big and it has lots of areas of "campo" or kind of like little farm towns. We get to do divisions with the areas too.

Well today we just finished the Zone leader meeting and me and my comp gave a workshop on how to give a good workshop. It happened to be my first one ever so it was a bit ironic but it went very well. My comp dressed up as Joseph Smith and I read a story about him. I was a bit nervous at first being the youngest missionary (time in mission) there but it went fine and I settled in pretty quick. It was very spiritual. It was the last ZL meeting of Pres. Ramos, and 7 out of 18 zone leaders.

Afterwards...... we played basketball!!! It was incredible! It had been a year since the last time I played. Pratt and I ruled the court like Gary Payton(Pratt) and Shawn Kemp. We went an undefeated 6 and 0 and represented proudly the Great Northwest. Our team was Elder´s Pratt, Reno(friend from MTC), Stephens, Kelly, and my old comp Elder Bracken! Lots of fun.

Anyways thanks for your prayers. I hope all is well! Have fun on your cruise Mom and Dad! I think I will be calling on the 18th instead of the 11th. I'm going to ask Pres on Friday and I'll let you know on Tuesday!

I love you all very much!

Family!

What a crazy crazy week. We had a baptism this Saturday. We did not know if the husband was going to be baptised until the day before, the day of he interview. We went to his house, he felt the spirit very strong and decided to be baptised with his wife!!! They are a Most excellent couple. The Ciciliato family. They have to kids 15 and 17 and one of whom plays soccer for a professional club! They are great kids!

So on Saturday... (the 40th birthday of Pablo) as Man and Wife they entered the waters of baptism to be batised by their nephew who was serving a 6 week pre-mission... the spirit was strong many tears were shed and we had the blessing of being instruments in the Lord's hands.
That happened to also be the last day of my and Elder Petersen´s time together!! I'm gonna miss the guy! Great Elder.

Yesterday morning we had the transfers meeting and I received my new assignment. I will now be serving in the area of Loma Grande, In the Marcos Paz zone, as a zone leader. I'm excited, a bit nervous and but I'm ready to go! Please keep me in your prayers... I'm companions with an Elder Pratt from....Portland Oregon!! Representing the beautiful northwest. He finishes his mission this transfer so we are going to rock this zone!

Thanks for everything!!

With lots of love,

Elder Kelly

Hola!

Well again I'm out of time for the week, I apologize for the lack of updates.

The work is going very well, we will have a baptism the end of this week. A great story involving a missionary from a different ward, a sister and her son!

After this week the transfer ends and I may end up leaving Parque Leloir. The next email I will let you know!!

This week we are going to have an activity with the youth from the ward and it will be excellent. I love this ward and area and I'm sure I will love the next even more!! Thank you for your prayers and I will talk to you all soon!!

With Love,

Elder Kelly
